Gulf Deepwater Horizon oil spill vacation guarantee
We all pray that environmental damage can be avoided, but the reality is that in the coming weeks, the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill has the potential to pollute local seas, beaches and waterways in some areas.
We've adapted our vacation rental oil-spill guarantee policy in way that we think is fair to the owner and renters alike. If you reserve a platinum rated condo with us between May 3 and December 31, 2010 and Government authorities "officially" close access to the water from the beach directly in front of your rental condominium for swimmers due to the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill, we guarantee to refund payment for unused, paid rental full days (24 hrs). Alternatively, should you decide to continue your stay, we'll discount your rental rate for any paid full days (24 hrs) that water access remains closed for swimmers. Access must be closed during your rental days to qualify and refunds and discounts are not applicable to free or unpaid rental nights. This guarantee covers vacation rentals by private individuals only and is not applicable to commercial rentals for business purposes. Reservations made prior to May 3, 2010 do not qualify for this special guarantee. The owner reserves the right to make changes to this policy as events and circumstances necessitate. There are two rates listed in each season, the lowest rate listed is a discounted rate (available for a limited time) and is available on qualified reservations when minimum stays are met, starting or ending on a Saturday, and paying by eCheck, cash or certified funds. Use coupon code:PIC-SCR
